Sewing Workshop for Mums & Bubs 💕

Welcome to Sewn with Love — a gentle, inspiring space for mums, mums-to-be, and caregivers who want to create something special for their little ones.
These workshops are all about slowing down, connecting, and learning the joy of making beautiful handmade pieces stitched with love and meaning.
In each session, you’ll be guided step-by-step through simple, beginner-friendly sewing projects perfect for bubs and mums — think tiny outfits, nursery essentials, keepsakes, new mama gifts and more. Every class is designed to build your confidence and creativity, even if you’ve never sewn before.
You’ll learn new skills, meet other like-minded mums, and enjoy a calm, supportive environment where you can take time for yourself while creating something truly heartfelt.
Whether you’re expecting, sewing for your baby, or just love the idea of making meaningful pieces by hand, Sewn with Love is your space to slow down, stitch, and connect.

Saturday, 7th November, 12 to 3pm

The cost is $65 per workshop, which will cover the use of a brand new sewing machine, and includes fabric, haberdashery items such as threads, scissors, zippers and all other items needed, plus 3 hours of studio time.
Together we will learn basic machine functions, such as threading the machine, how to adjust settings and select various stitches, machine sewing techniques and how to solve any problems that may pop up.
You will also learn basic sewing terminology, about various sewing tools and equipment, simple pattern reading, fabric types and which project to use them for, cutting, pressing, and hand sewing skills. Many more things will be covered during the workshops.

- Tips for choosing safe, natural, and baby-friendly fabrics
