🌿 Updated Terms & Conditions for Kids Sewing Groups

1. Missed Classes

All term bookings reserve a place for your child for the full term. Because this place cannot be filled once the term begins, missed classes are not refundable, transferable, or credited toward future terms.

2. Catch‑Up Sessions

If your child misses a class, one catch‑up session may be offered, subject to availability.

Catch‑up sessions must:

  • be arranged during the same term,

  • be booked in advance,

  • be taken in an existing class time (no custom sessions),

  • be used by the same child enrolled.

Catch‑ups cannot be carried over to the next term.

3. No Discounts for Missed Sessions

Because your child’s place is held for the entire term, missed sessions do not reduce the term fee. This includes illness, holidays, family events, or other commitments.

Illness

If your child is unwell, please keep them home for the safety and comfort of the group.

Missed classes due to illness are not refundable or credited, but a catch‑up session may be offered if:

  • it is arranged during the same term,

  • there is space available,

  • it fits within an existing class time.

Catch‑ups cannot be carried over to future terms.

Family Emergencies

We understand that unexpected situations happen. If your child misses a class due to a genuine emergency, please contact us as soon as possible.

While term fees remain unchanged, we will do our best to offer a catch‑up session within the same term, subject to availability.

Extended Illness

If your child experiences a longer illness (multiple weeks), please reach out so we can discuss options. This may include:

  • additional catch‑up sessions (if space allows),

  • pausing enrolment for the remainder of the term (case‑by‑case).

Refunds or credits are not guaranteed and are considered individually.

4. Cancellations

If you withdraw before the term begins, a refund may be offered minus an admin fee. Once the term has started, no refunds are available.

5. Class Commitment

Please ensure your child attends regularly so they can complete their projects and enjoy the full learning experience.

6. Teacher Time & Materials

Term fees cover:

  • teacher preparation

  • materials

  • equipment

  • your child’s reserved seat

  • ongoing support during the term

These costs remain the same whether or not your child attends every session.

7. Respectful Communication

We aim to create a positive, supportive environment for all families. Please communicate any absences or concerns early so we can help where possible.
